This dish can be prepared in advance. Use wooden skewers (available in stores) for the best results
Thread 5 pieces of pork onto each wooden skewer. Arrange skewers in shallow glass dish.
Marinade: Combine ingredients and pour over skewered pork. Cover and let marinate in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
Remove pork from marinade, reserving marinade, and barbecue over low heat until no longer pink in centre, for about 15 minutes on each side.
Makes 8 to 10 servings
